FROM GARDEN TO TABLE

We work with local eco farms, which supply us with fresh and high-quality ingredients. Locally-produced food travels the shortest possible distance from garden to table, which is reflected in a full flavour. We are also proud of our own mineral water, which is bottled on the premises. We have made sure it is available in all the rooms in reusable packaging to foster environmental awareness.

NATURE'S PRODUCTS IN ABUNDANCE

Nutritious, delicious and balanced meals are prepared from the very best seasonal ingredients, which are in abundance around here. There are more than one thousand edible herbs growing in the area. Local farmers produce healthy fruits and vegetables from local, non-GMO seeds that have been preserved for centuries. Cattle and sheep graze on high-mountain pastures, providing us with quality meat and dairy products. In the morning, you can walk to a nearby farm and choose some fresh eggs for your breakfast yourself.

Due to our one-of-a-kind approach, lunch and dinner is available to non-guests only by prior arrangement. Lunch is served daily between 12:00 and 15:00, and dinner is served between 18:00 and 21:30.

BASED ON INSPIRATION AND YOUR WANTS AND NEEDS

Our chefs follow the philosophy of sustainability, believing in momentary inspiration and refusing to stick to any set, never-changing menus. A morning visit to local food suppliers and a walk through the woods offer all sorts of ingredients. Adopting an ethnological approach and taking into account guests' wishes, our chefs create a variety of tasty meals.

LOCAL SPRING WATER

Every morning, we make our way to a nearby spring to get some healing mineral water, so you can enjoy it over breakfast. The water is rich in beneficial manganese and ammonium substances.

ELIXIRS FOR HEALTH AND ENJOYMENT

A perfect way to get a taste of nature is to have a cup of Jezersko tea, made from forty-two hand-picked herbs native to the area. Coffee lovers will be excited to enjoy some home-roasted coffee made in a high-end coffee machine. The iconic coffee machine was designed in 1961 to make that perfect cup of espresso. There is also a wide variety of natural artisanal juices, premium Slovenian wines and local craft beers to choose from.
